Youth Art Month Show at Portland Museum of Art

Please congratulate Blakey Bessire, a 4th grader at Reiche, who will be representing the school at the Portland Museum of Art throughout the month of March.

The opening reception for the show is Saturday, March 8th from 5- 7:30 PM. It is free and open to the public. Food and refreshments will be served.

Please come show your support to K-12 artists throughout the State of Maine and of course to our own Blakey Bessire!

March is Youth Art Month!
Parents, please encourage your child to use their imagination and create, create, create!
Children, please continue to be thoughtful and creative with your visual work! You will make people smile and appreciate the beauty you create.

Fabulous Puppets by Kindergarteners!

The kindergarteners at Reiche have been making wonderful puppets of people. It has been quite a process with building the armature, papier-macheing the head and neck, painting the skin and face, and finally adding clothes and hair. We have some beauties. Enjoy!
