- To have a general understanding of the main categories on the Periodic Table.
To have a strong understanding of the information behind an element square.
Agenda:
- Warm-up: ELEMENT LOCATION
- Where are you most likely to find the element you researched?
- Complete Element Square using this post: LINK
- Self-grade Element Square
- Glue Element Square to appropriate colored construction paper
- Place Element Square where it belongs on the large Periodic Table in the hall
- Stand back and bask in the glow of a job well done
- Return quizzes
- Research Bohr models and pass out some supplies (brainstorm ideas)
Homework:
- 3-D Bohr Model: Due Tuesday 10-14-08
Missing work and correcting quiz grades below 80%
