How are the building blocks of matter arranged on the periodic table?

Objectives:

To have a general understanding of the main categories on the Periodic Table.
To have a strong understanding of the information behind an element square.

Agenda:

Warm-up: WHAT AM I? #3
- I am in the 4th period and 6th group, what am I? (hint, you will need your periodic table and maybe notes)

- Have completed Element Characteristics section of scoring rubric and begin Uses of the Element section.

Homework:

Element Square: Due Friday 10-10-08
3-D Bohr Model: Due Tuesday 10-14-08
Missing work and correcting quiz grades below 80%
