Program Information

We are gearing up to start SAFE and SMART here at Reiche next Monday, October 6!

This year we will be focusing on literacy development in students using a new curriculum that we have purchased. We will also have enrichment activities on different days of the week, including Girl Scouts on Fridays!

We are starting our year with students in grades 3, 4, and 5 and will then add students in grades 2 if there is room.

Also, mark your calendars! Our first family night will be Thursday, November 13 from 5-6:30 pm. We will have a steel drums group, the Blueberry Pancakes, as our guest performers. Light refreshments will be served.

As always, please comment, call, or email with any questions!

SAFE and SMART is off to a great start at Lincoln this year.  Ms. Cameron, Ms. Martin, Mr. Bing, and Mr. Laboke are providing students with homework help and physical fitness opportunities.  Many students use their laptops or go to the library with Mr. Bing after school to work on their homework.  Then, students go outside to get some exercise for almost an hour each afternoon–they mostly play basketball or soccer.
