Portland High Wins State Math Meet Medals
The Portland High math team finished in first place for Division A at the Maine State Math Meet held on April 10 in Bangor. Of the 91 schools attending, only one other school had more points.
Chunan Liang of Portland High School won the gold medal for seniors. Other team members receiving honors included: Cezar Postolache -10th place, seniors; Gavin Bauer - 3rd place, juniors; Kayla Artinyan -8th place, juniors, and Brian Furey-8th place, sophomores.
