Olga LaPlante

Hi, I am Olga LaPlante, and for the last two years I have been working in the field of professional development, as my blog hopefully shows.

My main focus has been on or around technology integration and finding ways to meet more sophisticated needs compared to the worksheet practice.

I have also been known to be “good” with technology, Mac OS X, and planning learning for adults. I have worked for K-12, adult ed, presented at ACTEM, attended NECC 2007, and have been training on various applications, in various formats (ATM, Moodle; one-on-one, group face-to-face).

I have attended a SMART Technologies Master’s Training, and am now completing my certification requirements to be certified as SmartBoard Interactive WhiteBoard and Smart Notebook Software trainer.
