DECEMBER

November seems to have flown by with progress reports and conferences. Mr. Fuller and I have enjoyed listening to students sharing their learning and thinking with you since the beginning of the year.

We have noticed a change in students’ acceptance of responsibility for their learning and actions at school. It was a pleasure to compliment them on their progress and great to see their smiles when they heard the positive comments we shared.

December is always a short month. We’re working on 3 calendars that will be auctioned off on December 6th. Each student has designed and colored a picture for a month in one of the calendars.

Ms. Menyhart will be the lead teacher the week of December 8th. She will be working with my language arts and math classes, as well as introducing the science unit on the ocean.

Ms. Menyhart’s last day with us will be Friday, December 19th. We wish her well at her next placement at Lincoln Middle School.

Have a nice holiday.
Pat Lammers
