** IMPORTANT iKeepBookmarks ANNOUNCEMENT(S) **
2/25/08: Reiche is now set up with a premium membership and our Reiche iKeepBookmarks library has been moved to a “Members Only” server changing our URL to “ww2.ikeepbookmarks.com/reiche_elementary_school”. Notice the www -> ww2 change. Why is this important news? This new set up should give us faster response time and fewer technical hassles! Please let me know if your iKeepBookmarks experience proves otherwise.
1/9/08: The Reiche iKeepBookmarks menu/main page has been re-organized with the idea of making the user interface less cluttered and making the search for links simpler. Also, with the creation of new, general SUBJECT folders we can now all share multi-level sites without having to spend time browsing through grade level folders. Here is how you can help!
- ADDING NEW LINKS - When you add a new bookmark to a grade level and/or general subject folder please include a “grade level “rating” in the “Description” box (description will show up in black next to link when finished).
- DO IT AGAIN TO SHARE - Please consider adding to the general subject folders from now on. Many web sites are multi-level! If you do wish to use your grade level folder (perhaps easier for the kids ….) please consider taking a minute to also add the link to the subject folder.
- ADDING NEW FOLDERS - Let us know if & when you ADD main Subject folders or sub folders via a “Comment” in the iKeepBookmarks Page.
- DELETING LINKS OR FOLDERS - Please do NOT DELETE any bookmarks for the time being, even your own. Someone else may be using it! Drop a “Comment” if you have any ideas on this.
- COMMUNICATE - Use the iKeepBookmarks “leave a reply” box to announce new additions or edits, to ask questions or share tips & tricks, anything related to our iKBMs site (click inside the box, type your message, click on submit - that’s it!).
This is YOUR central bookmarks library. Let’s build it together!
Here is what I’ve done today. Can’t wait for your COMMENTS (sorry, 10 lines only …)!
- All K-5 folders are moved inside the “All Grade Levels”
- New SUBJECT folders have been added
- New (& some old) links have been added to Subject Category Sub folders

Anyone out there doing a unit on earthquakes? Lynn Cuenin just used an amazing US Geological Survey earthquake sit with her 4th graders! Look for the link in the Science-Earthquakes folder.

Forgot to tell you a couple of things.
HOW TO COMMENT TIP: If you get an “Anti-spam word” message and you see a word/code in color above the “Leave a Reply” comment box, type the code just as you see it in the field to left. When you are finished typing in the text box (up to 10 lines), don’t forget to click on the “Submit Comment” icon. For security reasons, your comment will automatically to my (JK’s) inbox where I can post it to the iKeepBookmarks blog, edit it or delete it.
