PARENTS!!! LOOK FOR A LETTER WITH AN ENVELOPE THAT HAS YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON IT!!!
A letter went home with your child a week ago asking for help to pay for the many end of the year activities for your child. A small group of 8th grade parents are hosting various activities such as an ice cream social, dinner and dance after the End of Year Celebration Ceremony. Please make a contribution towards your child’s 8th grade closing activities.

OLD CELL PHONES & ELECTRONICS COLLECTING DUST IN YOUR HOME?
Each year, millions of cellular phones, ink cartridges, DVDs and electronics are thrown out, creating thousands and thousands of tons of hazardous waste that pollute our air and water. Lincoln Middle School is conducting a recycling fundraiser where all you have to do is drop off your unwanted or broken electronics. THAT’S IT!!! You will be protecting the environment, helping Lincoln raise money for environmental sustainable education and you may use these items as tax deductibles. Please donate any used, old or broken cell phones, ink jet cartridges, DVD movies, video games, portable DVD players, laptops/notebook computers, MP3 players, video game consoles, digital cameras, digital picture frames and portable navigation & GPS devices. 100% of the proceeds will help fund Lincoln’s on-going sustainability efforts. We appreciate your support. If you have any questions, please contact a Blue 8 teacher or Thom Fournier at fournt@portlandschools.org.
Hope all is going well with the parent/student portal to our PowerSchool online gradebook. If you have any questions or need further support, please let us know. We are excited that this timely progress information will help your student experience greater success this year.
We look forward to working with all of you throughout the year to ensure that your student has a meaningful and memorable 8th grade experience.
