Better Late Than Never…
October 15th, 2007Well, it is now mid-October and I have a few spare minutes so I thought I’d catch you up on what is happening in our class:
Our class has settled in very nicely. We spent the month of September learning the class routines, expectations and making new friends. We completed an “All About ME” unit, and have introduced some sight words.
We have met with Mrs. Wu’s class for integrated Math lessons on Wednesday afternoons. On Wednesday mornings, Mr. Conley visits, and we have a special story time, also with Mrs. Wu’s class.
For the next couple of weeks, Miss Brackett will be taking over as lead teacher. She will be finishing our unit on “Apples”, and leading us through units on “Pumpkins” and “Autumn”.
Important dates to remember:
Friday, October 19 is our apple picking Field Trip to Snell’s Family Farm;
Saturday, October 20 will be the Reiche Yard Sale,here at school,from 9am untill 1pm;
Monday, October 22, will be a Kinderkonzert with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, time TBA;
Thursday, October 25 will be a walking trip to the Bramhall Fire Station
