Arril14-18 The ABC’s along with Student Council will be sponsoring a week to acknowledge the efforts of LMS to Go Green!

We will be having a GREEN bake sale, selling GREEN gum, wearing GREEN clothes, RRR day, and Lights Out day! Please join us in celebrating these great activities. We will also be raffling off t-shirts each day–just show us your support and Go GREEN!

Students are involed in reading the novel The House on Mango Street. We are focusing on such themes as culture, coming of age and discrimination. Students have been reading, discussing, journaling and reflecting on the various themes that encompass the novel.

Conferences

Gold 7 conferences will be held on Thursday, February 7 from 2:30-8 and Wednesday, February 13 from 2:30-8. Conferences will be student involved. The student will view their grades on Powerschool and create goals based on their progress in the core academic areas.
