Should tobacco and alcohol companies be held responsible for medical problems that occur as a result of using their product?

Yes they should be because they are the ones killing people and putting their lives in danger by makeing and selling this stuff to people! Its dangrous for peoples health!

I think companies of tabacco and alcohol should not be responsible for medical problems that occur as a result of there products because people should know too much is bad and it will bring medical problems.

I believe that they shouldn’t be the ones that are responsible for any medical problems that occur while/after using their product. They aren’t the ones that decide to use the product, the person using it decided to use the product thus holding the alcohol and tobacco companies innocent.

no, i agree with celine and karla, they shouldnt be responsible for what could happen if you use their product. they say that its bad for you on the box and if you still use it then the product is your own fault.

No. The people used the products with their own knowledge of what might happen to them. But I do think that health effects should be written on the packaging of the products

No. People should be able to take care of themselves and make the right choices.

I think that they shouldn’t be held responsible because in this day and age there is enough warning of the dangers of alcohol and tabacco that if some person is stupid enough to ignore or evade the warnings than they probably have some more serious issues.

* yes and no most people should be able to make the right choices, its your life you can do what you want with it. Then again tobacco company’s should stop because they know people are getting hurt, or worse even killed*

No, and if anyone ever tried to sue one of them, that person who tried to sue would get blown away by a dream-team of 100 million dollar lawyers.

Also lawsuits would be flying around all over America if people could sue them
