  1. Celine Says:

I don’t think that parents are responsible because the kids choose to eat what they do eat. The parents don’t hand them the junk and say “Here you go! Eat all of this yummy, fatty food!” That would be awful!

  2. salah Says:

if parents give there kids it will be too haerd for them to do something that other kids do.

  3. Olga LaPlante Says:

I believe that up to certain age, parents are responsible for their kids’ habits. Healthy eating is a conditioned habit, and is part of the family lifestyle.
However, one must remember that parents also were raised by their parents, who may not have had healthy eating habits themselves, so it’s important to accept that your parents may not make the best eating choices simply out of their upbringing. It’s important to make your parents aware of your ideas and healthy trends in food - they are often obvious. You may also want to discuss cost of healthier living, and what healthier choices are reasonable given your budget. Junk food is often addictive - and on many occasions taste better (because of all the salts in it). Educating yourself about food must part of your lifestyle - it’s important to keep healthy. Occasional splurge won’t do much harm, but it’s critical to remain consistent and keep away from donuts and soda and fries.
    Oh, and keep active, too!

I think that kids do it them selfs BUT, parents are buying the junk food and they aren’t forcing them to make them go on a diet!

  5. Sydney Says:

Yes they are because they are the ones who usually make dinner or take the children out to dinner. They are 100 percent responsible of what their kids eat.(Unless the kid(s) do(does) it behind their backs or they are at a friends house)

  6. Jack Says:

Oh by the way if they go out to eat the kids are responsible for what they eat. The parents are only responsible for how much it costs. Going out to dinner is a fun thing to do and you have proably never experienced that if you think that the parents are responsible

  7. LuLu Says:

I agree with Jack. Just because your parents buy junk food or give it to you for dinner, does not mean you have to eat it. Parents could help by not buying so much junk.

  8. Victoria Says:

No i dont think that Parents are! Kids choose what they eat and what they dont eat. Because parents dont know what kids eat when their at work or away from the house.

  9. Brianna Says:

In a way…yes and no. Parents can be, becuase they aren’t telling their kids to eat healthy, and they aren’t helping them eat healthy. But kids can be responsible also, because they choose have no concern about their health.

  10. Sydney and Jade Says:

It is the kids problem for what they eat. Not the parents. And when the parents feed the kids dinner the kids don’t always have to eat the health food. sometimes they just eat all of the bad food=[

  11. Sydney Says:

Parents are really reasponsable for the kids bad eating habits. I mean most of this stuff comes from heritage. If you take biology like my older sister does and then have them exlpian it to them then you can tell me different!

  12. Sandra Says:

I think that parents are responsibe for their childrens eating habits because they are the ones who buy by the fooooood!!!!

  13. mo awale Says:

no, some mom and dad are tell their kids not to but we should be responded

  14. Billie Jo Says:

I believe that parents may not just offer up unhealthy food to their kids like Celine says, but if your parents are always eating unhealthy then it is very possible that their kids will eat unhealthy too.

  15. tom Says:

    i want fatty foods

  16. Ej Espeaignette Says:
