Full Notes (paraphrased):

Lisa DiFranza is here tomorrow, since Wednesday is Awards Day. This week the Benefit Fair is on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Phil and Diane can only go on Wednesday, so we will meet with Lisa tomorrow at 1:35 and we’ll plan Diane’s visual displays first. Diane and Phil will go to the benefits fair at 2:10.

We still don’t know what behavior is expected from our students (whether or not they can float to demonstrations by themselves or whether they have to go as a class with a teacher). If students can’t be unattended, classes won’t be able to have ongoing exhibitions unless there’s an ed. tech. to stay with the class. We would like to let teachers decide which students can have the freedom to float by themselves, and which students need to be chaperoned. Phil will ask Brian to clarify student and teacher expectation snad will report to us at Tuesday’s meeting.

Phil showed a draft of the schedule. It’s very full! On the schedule he mentions having "student guides". Last year Cathy Dunn’s class acted as guides. Can we get student guides this year? Can we get bright T shirts for those students so that they are clearly visible as being guides?

Val will ask Shoshana for a publicity status update, and will also send a photo to Shoshana that could be included with a press release.

Dave N. checked with John Marcigliano and discovered that Rodney Richards is not able to bring students to PATHSFEST. Also, no schools have been invited.

Jane will check with Tina to see whether Tina can spend Wednesday doing promotional stuff for PATHSFEST.

Phil will ask Brian if he will change the sign on Friday afternoon so that it can be up all weekend.

Wednesday afternoon (after Awards) we will have a PATHSFEST planning meeting fom 1:00 to 2:10.

Vicky is sending blurbs to TV stations.

Dave N. will check to see if he can get some T shirts in various sizes for student guides.

Val will send the press release to all schools and to Central Office via e-mail.

Update: Jill reports that the Remax hot air balloon will be coming in the A.M and the Kites Over New England will be here most of the day.
