Vicky, Lisa and Phil will meet on Monday to write a more detailed proposal for the HOME project so that we can put it before the L.I.T. to get funded with L.I.T. money.

We need sponsors for PATHSFest!

We will not be pursuing a VISTA for next year because of the problem finding someone to act as the VISTA’s supervisor.

Vicky distributed handouts on the HOME project from Lisa DiFranza and Lisa Hicks.

Discussion about whether we have $1500 to pay Lisa DiFranza. Where are we looking for $?

• L.I.T.
• $ back from VISTA. Actually, the $375 from VISTA has gone back into the General Fund, so it’s not available.
• We can’t justify using Studenty Activity $ because we can’t pay guest artists with it
• Our budgets are frozen…

L.I.T.’s PPPD Fund is not frozen, and has $3071. Local $ is frozen ($1107).

Can we do it ourselves? That would be difficult. Could we cut the project down to just professional development, so we could use professional development money?

Our project meets literacy and 5-year plan initiatives, and people aren’t exactly vying for L.I.T. money, so let’s put it in front of the L.I.T. The proposal needs to have more details about:

• team goals
• learning goals
• learning results we’re looking to meet

Tom will give Vicky a "design-down" document. He has 2 perspectives: one for a student perspective, and one for a team perspective.

We should add in $500 because we might have added materials expenses for project, bringing our total to $2000.

PATHSFest discussion: If we can build PATHSFest into our project, money could possibly used for that. We need sponsors for PATHSFest.This seems like a good "Sue Steele project". If we generate $ from PATHSFest, we could use it to fund the next year’s PATHSFest.

We will not meet on Monday. Instead, Vicky, Lisa and Phil will meet to write a more detailed proposal for the HOME project.

On Thursday we will discuss the Snack Shack.
