With all due respect, I'd like to point out a few things. We cannot depend on either the Republicans or Democrats to end the war.
As of March 2008, Bush’s approval rating has sunk to a new low of just 31 percent, forty points lower than it was five years ago when we invaded Iraq. (Reminds me of what I heard about Lyndon Johnson's decline at the time of the Vietnam war...).
And... not one of the Republican OR Democratic presidential candidates has a plan to immediately pull out all the troops.

Before last night, when Obama was nominated, there was almost nothing different about the two Democrats. At root, they both defend the status quo, albeit with this or that cosmetic change. The main task confronting the working class in the next historical period is to build a political alternative to the duopoly of the Democrats and Republicans: a mass party of labor.

I'd like to be the first person to say:
CONGRATULATIONS OBAMA!

He is now the Democratic candidate in the running for becoming America's next president. ("Congratulations. You are still in the running for becoming America's Next Top Model. Heh heh."

I am ashamed to live in the same country with people who can't even spell their presidential candidates names,

MCCAIN

and, yes, Hillary wouldn't have a chance against McCain, she doesn't have a chance against anyone.

I really just don't support her at all, but if she is the democratic candidate I guess I would have to accept that. For the Hillary supporters who say if Obama wins they'll vote for McCain I can't say I agree with them. If they're democrats shouldn't they support whoever the democratic party winner?

I think that Hillary should just back down and let obama get onto the ballot. Republicans want Hillary to take as many votes from Obama in the primaries because they know if she wins them she has no chance againced McCain.

I think that if either Hillary or Obama were to win, that they would both do a great job being president. I think that it would be nice to have a first woman president, but on the other hand, I think that it would be nice to have a first black American as our president. I'm going for either one! :) NO REPUBLICANS! hee hee hee hee

I personally think Hilary should be a president.
Although Erika may be right about the fact that she only has political experience because Bill Clinton is her husband (she was also in senate for some odd years), but also, realize, that our country was in amazing shape when he was president and that could really help her if she were to become president.
Obama, yeah, he seems like a really good (the most likely...) candidate but I'm not exactly sure.
