Hooray for gays. If they really want to commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives (which, in my eyes, is a stupid decision even for heterosexual couples), then by all means, they should have the right to go right ahead. It's the same logic I spoke of earlier on the blog about polygamy: Everybody has the right to get married if both (or all) of the partners agree. So yeah.
Hooray for gays.

You kids have really impressed me since I've been here. You've shown me that the majority of you have respect for others, no matter their differences. You "get" that everyone has the right to be respected and receive the same courtesy in return. You've shown tolerance and self control when others may have been quick to judge or snap. That's hard to do at any age and I know a lot of you have had to put up with more than your share of "stuff". Saying, "I disagree because...." and not making personal attacks would be the way to phrase it and keep with "expectations". As for God and global warming, the Bible is up for interpretation, but some say that subject is dealt with in the Book of Revelations. In my position at KMS, it would be inappropriate for me to discuss religion any further than I already have (regarding the other comments).
