I think we should definetly pull troops out of Iraq, What are we fighting for now anyway? eh? Bring all the troops home!!

  2.

    bring ‘em home already.

    been over there toooooo loooonnngggg.

  3.

The US looks like an idiot now. We have no reason to be there. I want my cousin home. And I think it’s been way too long.

Oh and if you vote for Mcainn than the troops will be there for 100 years.

  4.

I think the troop have done too much and we’re only staying in there because Bush doesn’t want to lose what pride he has left. What are we fighting for? They don’t have any nuclear war-heads, and the longer we stay, the more people die and the more Iraq wants to strike back.

  5.

I think that Iraq is a lost hope for trying to turn into a democracy. There is no way that Iraq can have a government like the United States. We need to help Iraq get a stable military and then move on, we need to put this war to rest.

    Bringum home :]

  7.

STEVE THEY SHOULD DO IT THEMSELVES OR ELSE THEY’LL NEVER LEARN.

The US always gets mixed up in other peoples business. If we continue helping them, then they won’t know how to run their country and they’ll always look to the USA for help.

    That’s not good.

  8. Francis-Francium Says:

Gerty no offense but check your grammar, I can’t understand half of what you are saying. We don’t have any more soldiers to send to Afghanistan unless we take some out of Iraq. No more soldiers can be sent to Afghanistan without a one-for-one reduction of soldiers in Iraq. This last option is the only one that’s at all practical. There is no way to put more boots in Afghanistan without taking boots out of Iraq. The next president has a lot more to mull over than whether to move a few brigades from Iraq to Afghanistan. It’s time—it’s urgent—to rethink the broad outlines of American foreign and military policy.

  9.

    bring them home.

  10.

Bush is the worst president in History that I know of. He does things to benefit his own needs.

  11.

    keep em there

  12.

Demitrius. WHAT?! Do you like seeing people dying. I bet you didn’t even know that in Iraq they are strapping bombs to babies. How many babies do you want to die? Troops need to get out. I think that this is the most pointless war!!! I never should have started!

  13. Faisal lbrahim Says:

tem is right bring them all home.

  14.

Bridget why are u questioning my friends knowledge. What if we do leave Iraq the milatants will bring the war to America and start bombing us. Do you really want terrorist to bomb where you live.

  15. Alexandra Says:

    Gerty?
    Are you serious?
That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve heard in a long time.
Soldiers are out there defending our country and your worried about seeing their “ugly” faces?
    Wow.
I’m sorry but you are SO WRONG.

  16.

Hey Alexandra I don’t want to agree with gerty but I can’t let you get away with such false information. Soldiers aren’t there defending our country they are their helping another country. You might say that they are defending this country from terrorism.

  17.

    Bring them home!!!

  18. Alexandra Says:

    Francis:
I think they are REPRESENTING our country.
    My mistake.

  19.

    Bridget:

    Strapping bombs to babies??

  20.

Why did we start this war anyway? We are basically fighting to protect our pride now…or just fighting because Bush thinks it’s right. Bring back the soldeirs!! And the terrorists are insane, they will do almost anything ,Megan, including strapping bombs to babies.

  21.

Avery, we started the war because Bush lied and said Iraq was proven to have nuclear war-heads.

  22.

    @Avery:
I liked the way you put this:
We’re just fighting to protect our pride.

    That was very deep.

  23.

    bring the troop home

  24.

I think that we should pull troops home because we shouldn’t be interfering with other peoples countries.

  25.

Yes we should bring all troops home, why did they go to stinking Iraq in the first place. The troops are very dumb. My cousin to is not as dumb but still, he shouldn’t of listen to the president in the first place because he’s an idiot

  26. Alexandra Says:

    BRING THEM HOME!
I know so many people who havent seen their dads or moms for months and are suffering.

There is this person I know who has a strip of like some material for every soldier that had died in Iraq. She hangs them out in her yard off of clothes line with their name. Its literally breathtaking and SO sad.

I think we should put an end to all the deaths and pain this is causing EVERYONE.

  27.

To Kaitlin- are you saying what I think your saying we shouldn’t interfear with other people countries lets say we leave Iraq do real think the militants are giong to stop killing people? ansewer back.

  28.

ANNA B. - THE TROOPS ARE IN IRAQ ON THERE OWN FREE WILL THEY WERE NOT DRAFTED FOR THIS WAR BUT SIGNED UP FOR SO WHEN YOU SAY BRING THE TROOPS DO TRY TO A A LITTLE MORE SPECIFC. SUCH ARE SAYING “BRING THE TROOPS HOME BECAUSE YOU DON’T LIKE THE WAR OR YOU JUST DON’T LIKE BUSH OR SOME THING.

  29. Taylorrrr :] Says:

I honestly think that we shouldn’t have even gone there!
But now it’s probably too late to just leave…
If some one was terrorizing my country for a few years and then they just up and left out of nowhere,
there’s no doubt in my mind that they’d be in some serious TROUBLE!

    They should be here.

  30.

I agree with Konzo because troops aren’t being forced to join the army. They do it on their free will. Maybe their intentions are diffrent then others but its still their choice. They might do it for college reasons, for pride, and other reasons. I think that some people think that troops are being forced into the army , because they don’t like Bush and the way he does things and how badly he has messed up our country.

  31.

Konzo- I do think that if we take the troops out of iraq and give the people of iraq a chance to build up thier society on thier own they might set up a better goverment and they might stop killing people

  32.

    TO KAITLIN, KONZO, AND FOWZIYO
Do you actually think that Bush wants to pull troops out of Iraq? He doesn’t want to lose the battle because when he pulls the troops out of Iraq, Iraq will think that we are weak and continue attacking America.

  33. Alexandra Says:

I totally agree with you Francis.
But I think that it should happen.

  34.

I think that we should bring our troops home. This war is POINTLESS, it’s all on bush in my opinion. Why can’t he go fight what he wanted to start in the first place. Instead he sends our people to go die “to help others” when he is doing it for pride. It may be a individuals choice to go and join the army, but in some peoples cases it was their last resort and to make it in life they would have to go and die “for our country”. When actually they’re dieing for pride. IT REDICULOUS….. bring home our soilders

  35. Afghan, Nargis Says:

    “”ur right Jade”"

  36.

Can I just say that this entire war has one reason. PARANOIA.

THERE’S NOTHING BUT PARANOIA IN THE US.

I think if we didn’t jump to the conclusion of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq we wouldn’t have invaded them. Also we wouldn’t of had to waste over 5 billion dollars, we wouldn’t of had to make our debt grow larger, we wouldn’t of had to make thousands of enemies.

This war is terrible. I’m ashamed to live in this country.

PLEASE JUST TAKE ‘EM OUT. PLEASE BRING ‘EM HOME.

  37.

I think that we should bring the troops home because we are not doing anything over there anyway. We shouldn’t have gone over there in the first place.

    plzzzzzzzzzzz bring dem hom :(!!

  40.

Steve, I really feel sorry for you that you only believe what your parents tell you at the dinner table. Not everyone has to have the same beliefs as their parents, you haven’t even considered how much better off our society would be without all these red neck republicans holding us down.
Open yourself up to new ideas.

  41. Alex Thompson Says:

I think that we should definetely bring home the troops from Iraq. I think that going to war in the first place was a stupid idea from George Bush. My cousin is in Germany right now training. Soon he’ll be in Iraq just like all of the other young adults or adults. I worry about him everyday and hope that he’ll be alright there. I just keep wishing that this awful war would end. I think all of us know someone that’s in the war right now, family or friends. I know that the troops are trying to represent America and fight for our country but I think that their time in Iraq has been enough and should stop now.

  42.

    TO FRANCIS!!!
I never said bush didn’t want to pull out troops!! All I said was that troops aren’t being FORCED to join the army, well maybe being pressured by not physically being pulled into the army. They have their choice. Honeslty I think this war is POINTLESS and a waste of money. The United States bascally spends MILLIONS a year, and losing lives as the days go by. I am ashamed of this country. NOT SAYING I HATE IT. I am not being racial, but I am just ashamed of this country’s descion to go in the war in the first place. And I am just mindful of the future consequences due to Bush’s poor descions. =[

  43.

Why would you quote a seventh grader in King Middle School when you could quote a president, political leader, or anyone known across the world, not eighth graders in Portland Maine

  44.

for all of you who think we should stay there and fight, why we went looking for weapons of mas destruction. dont you think if they had them they would have done something a little better then run a couple plains into the buildings. and dont you think its weird that if you fold up the dollar bills it shows the buildings getting hit

  45. Jadeeee =] Says:

Barry: I ‘m doing this because everyone already knows what the political leaders think and the collage isabout getting our opinions across so I think that this is more meaningful…

  46.

    Bring them home, already.
We’re staying there to protect our pride.
    Nothing more, nothing less.
War is a flawed policy wrapped in illusion.
This war began based on lies, and the arguments for staying there are also shrouded in lies.

From the start, the government has nothing but indifference to the safety of Iraqis. Thanks to the outright incompetence of our leaders, Iraq is now in a state of chaos. Our officials have become a hated symbol of foreign occupation and a target for violence. It is up to the Iraqis to settle their differences and set the economic course for their nation.
And reconstruction of Iraq’s economy? Iraqi reconstruction is a complete failure. The Iraqi economy is in a shambles, while in Baghdad there is electricity and water for only a few hours each day. Bush cronies have treated Iraq as a spoil of war to plunder.

  47.

    Paley,
“Steve, I really feel sorry for you that you only believe what your parents tell you at the dinner table.”

    Give me a break.

New ideas, seems to me that you aren’t following your own advice at all. Yeah 70% of the United States citizens disapprove of the job and handling of Iraq, (including me) and your taking a huge risk saying that you don’t approve the war. Yeah, you got some great new ideas Paley.

  48.

Do you care to explain how I am taking a big risk by saying that we should never have gone into Iraq?

  49.

Bush is a moron with a terribly huge ego and unmerited pride up his ass.
    So let’s bring them home.
